Here you can view some of my best photos of Portlethen Beach in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Portlethen (Port Leathain) is a small village lying 7 miles south of Aberdeen on the east coast of Scotland. Portlethen beach lies near the harbour at old Portlethen, and beside the slipway is a nice rocky area. I’ve only ever visited this are once, but was fortunate enough to get some nice evening light and was surprised by the full moon rising over the horizon just after sunset.
