Photos of Kingsdown Beach
Here you can browse some of my best photos of Kingsdown Beach. The little coastal village of Kingsdown lies at the northern end of the White Cliffs of Dover. It’s a pebble beach with a small section where there is a jetty and some groynes. Behind this is a row of typical English beach huts and the Zetland Arms, which is the beach front pub. Kingsdown Beach is a great place for dawn and sunrise photography, and I often stop here on my way to and from taking the ferry across to France.
Kingsdown Beach is situated on the South Foreland Heritage Coast and the surroundings have been declared an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). To really enjoy this area, you can take the Kingsdown to Walmer Walk, or the Saxon Shore Way.
