It also lies on the South West Coast Path, a national walking trail. Above the bay on a small hill sits Clavell Tower, originally built as a folly but now used as holiday accommodation.
Kimmeridge Bay provides stunning pictures, especially when the tide recedes and reveals numerous rocks pools and ledges. The colours of the rocks, especially around the western side of the bay, are amazing.
